1 – Go to http://docs.google.com
2 – In the left-hand sidebar, under My Collections section, right click on a folder which you want to backup and then click Download.
3 - In Convert and Download popup, Selected Items tab would be selected by default. From this tab if you click Download button at the bottom you will be able to download all the content of the selected folder. You can also set the format for documents to be downloaded in.
Alternatively, you can select All Items tab through which you will be able to download all of your documents and files existing in your Google Docs account in one shot.
4 – Your data from Google Docs will be downloaded in zip format, but remember Google Docs won’t export data more than 2 GB at a time.
